We love travel at Navigator. We’re not just insurance boffins who happen to have stumbled across the travel industry (contrary to what some people might think!). We can’t get enough of reading about people’s travel stories, and we’re lucky enough to have a thriving travel community online who share all the best travel stories from around the world. That means that even whilst we’re in the office, we can vicariously enjoy other people’s adventures.
We thought that it would be great to share our favourite posts from across the travel web with you each month so you can easily see some of our favourites if you didn’t catch them the first time around. Below are our favourites from November, we’re sure you’ll love them as much as we did…
Nellie from Wild Junket has been to a lot of places, but we loved her account and video coverage of her whale watching experience in Iceland in November. We’d love to go! And if you haven’t picked up Nellie’s digital magazine yet you should!
People say list posts are too easy, but we love this one from Matt at Landlopers. Cape Town is an amazing city and Matt has put together plenty of reasons to explain why – 42 to be precise! If you haven’t been, this post and the great photos will make you want to pack up straight away!
Who doesn’t love Hawaii?!? Sherry Ott shows why it’s such a great place and gives us the lowdown on the Pineapple Island that is Lana’i. We love her story telling style and the post gives a great insight into life there.
A Luxury Travel Blog
Indonesia is a stunning country and one with so much to offer holidaymakers and travellers. Cristy did a great job here of pulling together the very best things to do there if you are lucky enough to have a luxury budget to work with! We’re not sure we’ll be able to do them all, but it certainly makes exciting reading!
Paul Steele has an uncanny knack of making you want to visit somewhere by really taking you there through his photographic diaries. This one gives us an insight into climbing one of Iceland’s remote mountains and, despite its clear distance from civilisation, you can’t help but want to go and take in that scenery for yourself.
So there are our favourite 5 from November. Stay tuned in early January and we’ll bring you the next instalment with the best of the posts that we’ve been reading this month – there are already some corkers!
